Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the Victoria Flea Market, the place where everything old is new again.

We are currently accepting vendors for indoors only at 195 Bay Street @ the Leonardo DaVinci Hall in VicWest. You can apply by contacting info@victoriafleamarket.com and providing your name, your business name (if you have one) the number and type of tables you require and your contact information. A downloadable application form is available on this site for your convenience.

Indoor spaces are available in a variety of sizes; 4 foot (card table) @ $12, small banquet table @ $18 and large banquet table (8 foot) @ $22 sizes and come with corresponding tables and a maximum of two chairs.
Electricity is available in some indoor locations for an additional charge of $5
Please bring a tablecloth or covering for you table. You may use the floor space under your table for display but for safety reasons all aisles and exits must be kept completely clear of merchandise throughout the sale.
Please treat the building with respect; staples, thumbtacks scotch tape or any other material which might damage the walls, tables or floor cannot be used or you will be held responsible for any and all restorations costs.

Outdoor spaces are not available at this time.

SET - UP

Vendors may set-up from 7:00 am to 9:00 am on the day of the flea market. Be sure to arrive early as any spaces not claimed by 8:30 am may be forfeited. Please bring your receipt and check-in at the front desk in the lobby as soon as you arrive for directions to your assigned space. Spaces will be numbered. A maximum of two ID badges will be provided per space and should be worn throughout the sale to identify you as a vendor. Any assistants to the vendors whose main purpose is to shop will be charged an early bird admission fee of $5.
There is a loading ramp for easy access at the rear of the building off the parking lot. Once you have unloaded your merchandise please move your vehicle completely out of the parking lot as the number of loading spaces is limited and the remaining spaces are intended for customer parking.

MERCHANDISE AND DISPLAY

All tables must be covered , please bring a table cloth or other material for this purpose.
Prepared food sales are not permitted within the Victoria Flea Market grounds. CRD Health regulations prohibit the sale of home prepared foods including but not restricted to canned goods, baked goods, roasted nuts or candy. Pre-approval of any food product must be obtained prior to day of sale.
Guns, ammunition, medicines, pornography or any other items which the Victoria Flea Market deems inappropriate may not be sold. The Victoria Flea Market reserves the right to restrict the display of any item deemed unsuitable at their sole discretion.

PACK-UP

The flea market will be open to the public from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm so please do not pack up before then. Vendors will not be permitted to book for the next event until after closing. Unsold merchandise must be removed by 3:00 pm As a courtesy to your fellow vendors please wait until all your merchandise is packed and ready for loading before moving your vehicle into the loading bay area. The Victoria Big Brothers and Big Sisters provides convenient donation drop boxes in the main foyer of the hall for any unwanted/unsold goods vendors may wish to donate. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.

FACILITIES

A well-maintained washroom and courtesy phone are available in the main entrance lobby of the hall. Wheelchair access and vendor loading is located at the rear of the building off the parking lot. A coat/bag check is available for a nominal fee. ATM machine is located across the street at the Save-On Foods Centre and TD Bank. There is no canteen in the hall so please remember to pack a lunch. There are numerous food and coffee merchants in the shopping centre across the street.

ADVERTISING & PROMOTION

The flea market will be advertised in the Times-Colonist and Black Press papers in Greater Victoria and in targeted print media on a rotating basis. As well as having its own website the flea market will be promoted on a variety of compatible internet sites. Flyers will also be distributed at recreation and cultural centres, antique & collectibles shops throughout greater Victoria as well as at shows, bazaars, and other events across lower Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. You can help bring more buyers to your table by posting flyers (available Sundays at the Hall), at your neighbourhood shopping centre, library, school, etc.

LIABILITY WAIVER

By participating in the Victoria Flea Market, the vendor agrees to release, discharge, hold harmless and forever acquit the Victoria Flea Market, The Victoria Italian Assistance Centre, Vonderval Promotions, Valerie Rawlings or other sponsors and their officers, agents, representatives and employees from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims, or any liabilities whatsoever, known or unknown, now existing or which may arise in the future, on account of or in any way related to, or arising out of participation in the said flea market, including but not restricted to any loss or damage, injury or expense. Further the vendor assumes all responsibility for his/her employee(s), helpers, or any accompanying non-participants.
